Full Professor of General and Social Pedagogy at the Faculty of Education at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Milan), where he teaches General Pedagogy and Family Pedagogy. He is Dean of the Faculty of Education Sciences; Director of the Observatory for Education and International Cooperation and Director of the UNESCO Chair 'Education for Human Development and Solidarity among Peoples'. He is President of the National University Conference on Education Sciences.
