The Unesco Chair operates along two main paths:

1. development of research-action projects which promote education processes in developing countries through the training of local personnel and promotion of international collaborations as required by the Agenda 2030 goals;
2. promotion of training initiatives for students of Università Cattolica and of other national Universities in order to develop international exchange experiences between students from Italian universities and universities located in developing countries in the framework of Service Learning.
