Simone Moriconi

SIMONE MORICONI is Assistant Professor in International Economics at Università Cattolica di Milano. He received his PhD in 2007 at the Graduate School in Public Economics (DEFAP) in Milano. He has been a post-doctoral researcher at the London School of Economics, visitor at the Université Catholique de Louvain, and University of California, Davis. He is also research fellow at Université du Luxembourg. His research interests include both theoretical and applied research in the fields of public, labour and international economics. He is primarily interested in international taxation (particularly on labor and consumption) and tax competition. He studies institutions, both their determinants, and their effects on labor market outcomes, and analyzes institutional interactions in an international context.
